Circadian Rhythms
Every cell in our body can tell the time. Cells have biological clocks that can be dubbed "biological clocks". Without the use of gadgets such as human wristwatches, specific molecular bundles – or proteins – connect with cells throughout the human body to tell the time nearly perfectly. Circadian Rhythms are a type of automatic timing.
Circadian rhythms are what cause us to desire to wake up in the morning and sleep at night.
Without this mechanism, individuals would sleep when they wanted to sleep and wake up when they wanted to, causing pandemonium.
According to Circadian Rhythms, biological clocks occur in practically all tissues and organs of the human body.
To put it another way, the biological clock is kept in order by a clump of nerve cells in the brain known as the master clock. The master clock is located in the hypothalamus, a region of the brain that regulates vital bodily functions such as blood pressure, heart rate, and digestion. To further understand how circadian rhythms function, consider that everything the eye sees provides information to the brain.
When it turns dark at night, the brain produces the hormone Melatonin, which makes you desire to sleep. When the sun rises in the morning, the brain recognizes it and transforms it into something new and vibrant. The above-mentioned master clock causes the brain to wake up and sleep. However, according to the trend, when individuals spend more screen time (phone time), sleep with lights on, and so on, their circadian rhythms are disrupted, causing the master clock to become irregular.
Adults, for example, go to bed early and get up around five o'clock in the morning because their circadian rhythms are still regular. This is a crucial function in the human body, therefore I encourage you to be aware that sleep deprivation can have an impact on your physical and mental health.
